The Azores islands are located in the Atlantic Ocean and are characterised by maritime, subtropical weather conditions, thanks to the influence of the Gulf Current.

Characterised by mild temperatures and moderate falls all year long, temperatures on these islands range from 15 to 28°C. The best time to visit the Azores goes from June to September.

The weather on the Azores is characterised by its variability: climate conditions change according to the location of the island, although rain falls are pretty frequent. The rain season goes from October to March, while August is the hottest month of the year.

The islands are susceptible to the effects of hurricanes between August and November, although it is pretty unlikely that these atmospheric phenomenons directly hit the Azores.
