How to reach Praia da Comporta

Praia da Comporta can be easily reached by car either from Lisbon and its surroundings or from Setúbal. From Lisbon the resort can be reached in an hour and a quarter by driving first along the A2 to exit No. 8 and then along the N253 towards Comporta. From Setúbal, on the other hand, it is necessary to always travel along the A2 and the N253 to the destination; it usually takes just under an hour from Setúbal.

Alternatively, the area can be reached by a scenic ferry crossing. In particular, from Setúbal there are numerous sea crossings, both for pedestrians and cars, that lead all the way to Troia, which is approximately 15 km from Comporta. Then once in Troy one can take a bus to Comporta or drive one’s own car.
